Pork Shanks (Ham Hocks) are great in the slow cooker and in soup. They are the lower segment of the pig that corresponds to the ankle or calf region. Hocks are not fatty but can be made tender from all the collagen that breaks down during cooking.

Pork comes from heritage breed pigs that are born on farm and raised on non-GMO feed resulting in flavorful, nutritious pork.
