Cassi Hammerness - Founder

Ranch-raised, a producer herself, and a total ribeye lover, Cassi brings that same passion she has for raising cattle and devouring a great steak to creating a platform that unites her fellow ranchers with her fellow steak lovers. Her day job keeps her smack dab in the middle of the beef industry as well, as she works for a global animal health company and helps producers keep their animals healthy and thriving.



Cassi’s overall vision includes having each person who buys meat from this website to feel as connected to the ranch as she does the minute she turns onto that gravel road that takes her home to her family ranch. She hopes to create awareness and transparency around where our food comes from.


Cassi calls the great state of Montana home now where her and her husband, Bill, are raising the next generation of cowboys and cattlemen.


Lindsey Anson - Marketing

A producer on Range Market herself, Lindsey spends her days managing the day-to-day operations at the Pitchfork Ranch and marketing their branded beef program.


At the forefront of her priorities for Range Market is connecting producers that put their heart and soul into their operation to consumers that care where their protein is coming from. Anyone can head to the grocery store and grab meat off the shelves but providing customers with a unique farm-to-table experience is what she is truly passionate about.



There’s nothing that quite satisfies like beef and to Lindsey, a new york steak is the perfect treat at the end of a long day.

Deane Venske - Developer

Hailing from down under in New Zealand, Deane has been building SaaS solutions for both Business to Business and Business to Consumer solutions for over 15 years. He prides himself on maintaining an expert knowledge in the latest technology while building upon solid foundation in tried and tested technologies.


He is passionate about integrating systems to create a better overall experience for all users from data entry to data reporting.


Deane leads several small-to-medium-sized teams and loves mentoring young, talented developers, allowing them to grow into their full potential.



To Deane, nothing beats a medium-rare New York Strip that needs nothing but a little Salt and Pepper to bring out it's natural flavor.
