Many years ago, Gabriella's grandpa Billy who lives and raises cattle in Modoc County, California told her dad, Mike, the best spice blend to put on beef. Mike perfected it in his kitchen on Modoc Road in Oregon - hence the name. It is a rub made of garlic, salt, and pepper that goes great on beef and everything else.
