From the fields of France in the 1800s to our family farm today, we are excited to grow this heirloom grain. Known for its beautiful color and nutty flavor, it is excellent for sourdough and your favorite artisan bread recipes and baked goods. High in protein, finely ground, whole wheat flour from certified regeneratively grown hard red wheat. The classic choice of French bakers!

One other interesting thing to note about Rouge de Bordeaux: we have found that many of our friends and family who have a gluten intolerance do not have a negative reaction to products made with Rouge de Bordeaux. Although we can’t guarantee that this will be the case for everyone who is gluten sensitive, we're very excited about it being a possibility for some.
